Plot:

A young woman fights the spirit that is slowly taking possession of her.

Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) hated her mother for leaving her as a child. But when inexplicable things start to happen, Casey begins to understand why she left. Plagued by merciless dreams and a tortured ghost that haunts her waking hours, she must turn to the only spiritual advisor, Sendak (Gary Oldman), who can make it stop. With Sendak’s help, Casey uncovers the source of a family curse dating back to Nazi Germany—a creature with the ability to inhabit anyone or anything that is getting stronger with each possession. With the curse unleashed, her only chance at survival is to shut a doorway from beyond our world that has been pried open by someone who was never born....

The Biggest Loser season 7

The sixth season of The Biggest Loser is coming to an end. On tonight’s season finale, all of the families from season six return for a special reunion, where they have a chance to weigh in one last time to show how much weight they’ve lost since leaving the show.

On last week’s episode, the final four of Ed, Heba, Vicky, and Michelle competed in one final challenge. At the final weigh-in, husband and wife Ed Brantley and Heba Salama of Raleigh, North Carolina from Harper’s blue team fell below the yellow line. America then voted in order to eliminate either Ed Brantley or Heba Salama and to select the third finalist in the game. Only one of the final three will win the grand prize of $250,000.

In addition to the revelation of the winner of The Biggest Loser, there will also be a special sneak preview of season 7, which is set to premiere on January 6, 2009. The Biggest Loser 6 season finale airs on Tuesday, December 16 starting at 8 PM ET on NBC.

The live finale will also include a special interactive component that will begin during the The Biggest Loser finale and end in Momma’s Boys. Momma’s Boys premieres right after The Biggest Loser finale. After being shown before/after pictures of three past season contestants from the Biggest Loser, viewers will be able to vote via text or online at www.nbc.com for which contestant they think has had the best transformation. The winner will be announced at the end of Momma’s Boys. Two at-home viewers, one on the east coast and one on the west coast, will also be randomly selected from those who voted to each receive $10,000.

Visual Effects Supervisor Charles Gibson discusses his role in the making of Terminator Salvation:

"Prior to Terminator Salvation, I worked on all three Pirates movies. Those worlds and characters were from a different time and place and had to be completely fabricated. This film plays in an altered but plausible version of our world. We're primarily concerned with bringing the Terminator elements home, to make you believe this reality could be just around the corner. It's a very different sort of challenge.

McG's take is to weave science fiction elements into a state-of-the-art action film: The camera always moves, the imagery is raw and kinetic, the pace is insane. The creative challenge for me will be to bury the effects into the photography but to still protect our big visual moments.

Before Terminator 2: Judgment Day, visual effects films were frequently driven by technology -- you worked with what you had. With The Abyss and especially with Terminator 2: Judgment Day, James Cameron showed us that concept rules: When the director has a compelling new vision, the technology will follow. Cameron opened that gate for other filmmakers who in turn have pushed the visual effects industry in new directions.

We've been waiting to see this world for years -- it's only been glimpsed and hinted at in the previous Terminator movies. We're able to revisit the elements that have been established, but we're going to be adding a whole lot more."
